Free to choose how we spend our days, free to follow our dreams and free to discover what it is that truly makes us happy. Everyday so many of us get caught up in the daily grind of work and added life stressors.  Sometimes, there are places and moments that just take our breath away.  A place to escape to free your soul and enchant all your thoughts.   A moment that brings out the true authentic you and helps revive and recharge those batteries.  Whether it be a blissful beach or just curling up on the couch with a good book and a cup of joe…or maybe it’s feeling the rain on your face on a stormy day or watching black and white movies on Sunday with your love. These moments can be so freeing the happiness is child-like.  These pictures represent those moments of absolute bliss for us.  We are all on a journey to find what what truly ignites our souls and makes us happy.  Follow us on our journeys and discoveries and tell us what it is that brings you bliss.

Love of animals is one of our biggest shared passions!  Nothing melts our hearts more.  It was hard to narrow it down, but here are just a few of our favorite photos of these spiritual companions.  In Sarah Ban Breathnach’s book Simple Abundance she so eloquently describes the emotional bond and benefits of sharing our lives with these four legged creatures:

“The physicians and psychologists say that loving, caring for, and spending time with animals enhances our well-being. Anyone how has ever been adored by a dog or adopted by a cat probably can’t convey in words the emotional bond that grows between them.  That’s because dogs love us unconditionally and cats are big on redemption.  Our sins and short comings don’t bother them as long as we delight in their presence.”

     As you can see, we are very much in love with the style of the 60′s and 70′s.  Here are our fashion icons and celebs that we look to for style inspirations. These fashionistas have impeccable taste and most of these women have a vintage vibe that we love.  As much as some of us hate to admit we are influenced by the “celebrity”…we are!  That is nothing to be ashamed of.  How many times have you bought something because of the brand name or because you saw it on a celebrity in People magazine?  I think we all have because clothes look better on a real person than they do on the rack, so let’s embrace it!  Celebrities are always up on the latest fashions, so why not look to them for ideas.  I know we don’t all have an endless budget like they do but there are plenty of ways to get their looks for less.  Find who your celebrity style inspirations are and then really think about why you love how they look.  Whether it’s Nicole, the ultimate modern hippie and her ability to accessorize with head scarfs and over-sized jewelry, or Rachel’s unique take on the basics with a slight boyish twist, or the Olsen’s.  Who doesn’t die for Mary Kate and Ashley’s perfectly disheveled boho look? …well, we do, but you don’t have to.  Think about who you like to see in your US Weekly and why.  This will help you define your own style and discover your authentic you.  When we dress well we feel well.  So tell us who are you shaped and fashioned by?   K&A
