Pink hair is becoming something of the norm lately. Designers like Zac Posen and Vivienne Westwood sent models down the 2011 runways with pastel colored manes and it has been flowing over into this seasons trends. Up and coming model Charolette Free has a lot to do with this pink hair revolution. Most woman, at one point or another have wanted to go pink, even if just for one day. We realized that pink hair is not new. It has been in and out of popularity all throughout history, even as early as Maria Antoinette. Why are people so fascinated with blush-colored hair? It has definitely evolved since the 80′s and 90′s from a neon punk pink to a soft cotton candy pink. We love it!! Not because it’s rock and roll, but because it’s…well, pretty! It’s definitely something that can easily look tacky but there are a few that can pull it off with fashion forward sophistication. Example: Sienna Miller below.

Here are some of our favorite pinkspirations…

Gypsy luster has done it again…. for sure this should make top 20! I love pink hair.
I would love to have my hair pink!!!! but in order to do that i would have to first become really blond and now my hair is black so it would probably fall of and i would end up bold.
But im so in love with this trend!!!!
