Happy Monday Lovelies!! Today we wanted to remind you that you deserve to feel like a princess!  So go ahead and wear your invisible crown…or real one.  As women we tend to not give ourselves the credit we deserve and we let life make us feel we’re not good enough.  You are enough!!  You are more than enough and deserve to feel and be treated as such.  There is a reason we all loved playing dress-up as children.  It made us feel beautiful and took us away to a place of dreams and fantasy.  The same hold true today.  What you wear makes you feel a certain way, so honor that child within and play dress-up!! Happy Furry Friday Lovelies!! If you are in the L.A. area this weekend and are looking for a best friend there is a great animal organization holding a Super Pet Adoption at the La Brea Tar Pits.  There will be hundreds of dogs and cats from LA Animal Services, LA County Animal Shelters, and local rescue groups waiting for you to give them the companionship of a lifetime.  It’s going to be a fun event with celebrity guests, food trucks, stage demonstrations, music, pet-related products, and more!  So, even if you’re not ready to adopt it’s a great opportunity to help volunteer and get involved in animal awareness.  Also how can you resist a day of animal lovin’!!!  Click on the link below for more info.  If you’re not in the area but still interested in pet adoption remember Pet Harbor is a great website to find the perfect pet!  Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

     If you are looking to make a statement this spring, our suggestion is to get on board with the Tribal Trend.  These tribal prints have been around since fall and are carrying over into spring with an all new splash of color.  It’s all about geometric shapes, textures and patterns…then mixed with the popular neon infatuation, the union is magical!  We also love the look with a more earth tone palette.  The natural tones mixed with the intricate tribal patterns creates a very bohemian and cultural feel, which we can appreciate being the gypsies that we are!  The Tribal trend is often inspired by African, Asian or Native cultures.  The influence, as of late, is very heavily Native American inspired, which makes us love it that much more!  We’re proud to embrace the beauty of a culture that feels like home.  These designs compliment everything from bathing suits to bracelets and we love the eclectic mix of patterns.  Hope you enjoy going Tribal this Spring!  K&A

     As you can tell from yesterday’s post, Coachella brought out some of the most amazing fashion combinations and unique styles we have seen all year. Such an altering feeling when fashion and music come together!!!   I was actually suppose to attend Coachella this year, but had to cancel last minute.  I was completely bummed!!!!!!  All I have to say is Andee and I will definitely be attending Coachella 2013!!  Thought this outfit had the right feel for a weekend in the desert.  A big floppy hat to keep the hot sun out, a midriff top to keep cool and a pair of bell bottoms to finish off that Woodstock feel.  Love, K

Animals have always influenced fashion in some way but lately it’s quite literal. Their images are splashed all over the fashion world from the usual t-shirt to swimsuits.  We have fallen in love with the Australian based swimsuit label We Are Handsome (shown above).  Their love for all things beautiful is right up our alley.  Every piece they create is a work of art and we can’t get enough! Felines seem to be the most popular trend at the moment but have actually been popular for a couple of years now.  What is it that draws people to cats? They’re beautiful for one, but they also command attention and respect.  As you can see, cats aren’t the only animals getting attention. So, if the saying holds true ‘you are what you wear’, what animal would you wear to express your wild side?  We can’t decide what we like more, the regal cat or the mystique of the wolf.  However, those horse leggings are pretty bad ass too!!  The clothes we wear each day tell the world who we are and also expresses our mood.  So tell us, what animal are you at the moment?   Have a wild weekend!!  K&A

Did you feel a little reminiscent looking at all these pics?  Remember as a kid when you couldn’t decide on a color so you decided to go with five??  Well get back in touch with your twelve-year-old self because multi-colored nails are hot right now!!  We have a feeling it may be one of those style trends that we look back on in a few years and say ‘WTF??!!’, but…for now why not embrace it!  Our favorite version of this multi-colored look is the Ombre manicure.  Staying with one color in five different shades keeps this look a little more classy and a lot less Ice Truck Killer…Dexter anyone??  What do you think, do you like?  Have you tried it?  Let us know…we would love to hear from you via facebook or twitter.  Have a colorful day!!    K&A

    Talk about bedazzle!!! This studded trend has been spotted on every wearable item imaginable.  Ok, we know it’s not new…the studded trend has been around for a while now.  We’re still loving it!!  Everyone else must be too because it’s definitely still hot!! It’s a cool way to dress up any pair of tennis shoes or add edge to a pair of jeans or a leather jacket.  The studded look definitely gives off a rocker chic vibe!  The jean shorts are a personal favorite especially the ones Sarah-Jane Clarke and Heidi Middleton are wearing at their 2010 Sass and Bide runway show in the first picture above.  The fun thing about this studded trend is it can be a DIY project.  We have been wanting to experiment with a pair of heels in our closet that need a little refreshing.  So keep posted for a DIY project!!   Happy Hump day! I’ve always had a thing for baseball tees.  Maybe it’s that baseball has always been my favorite sport (to watch)…after all, it is America’s favorite past time!  I love mixing colors so I thought the neon yellow went perfectly with my bright purple heels.  I’m such a shoe girl!  I’m a firm believer that shoes make or break an outfit.  Don’t you agree?
