My fashion mood as of late has been wandering to the black side, so I decided to kick things up a notch and add some neon.  I must be stuck in fashion limbo between Summer and Fall.  Despite this sweltering heat we’ve been enduring in L.A., the past few days my mind has been wandering to cooler times with dreams of cozy attire a la boots and scarves, but then again the beach is still calling my name on a daily basis.  I’m half in…what a place to be!  It must be the endless Fall lookbooks that have been taunting me online.  So much fashion goodness awaits, and yet I must continue to remind myself to stay present…this day will never come again.  Live it, Love it, Embrace it!  My mantra for the day.  I hope you’re all having a beautiful and inspired day!

Here is your dose of Monday inspiration to start out your week. I don’t know if it’s the summer weather we’re getting here in L.A. or the fact that we’re seeing these colors all over, but we have been drawn to yellows and neons lately. What better way to brighten your day than a neon statement necklace or a yellow dress!  Spring is coming so get on board!  Remember you are lovely just the way you are so embrace being you. Awe…New York Fashion Week!  It’s the last day of NYFW 2012 and there are so many great images flooding the blogging world that we wanted to share just a few of our favorites. We love seeing street styles, especially during fashion week because there are so many individual looks…anything goes.  So eclectic…we love it!  If there is a trend, it’s definitely leather and fur (tons of fur! Enough to cause an outrage at PETA…if only it were all faux!)   Also, pops of neon and bright colors, classic all black and layers, layers, layers.  Seeing all these layers is making me yearn for cooler weather.  It’s tough living in sunny California!  No, seriously, I grew up with blistery winters so every once in a while I do miss having to bundle up on a cold day.  Wherever you are, we hope you are keeping warm and inspired.  K&A
