Some of my favorite eye candy for Spring. Pastels have been ruling my life this season, everything pastel hair, nails and DIY jackets. I am loving the animations that have been appearing in high fashion editorials lately its a cute fun way to stand out amongst the crowd. The rest… enjoy!

This Is My Ode To Spring

Maybe it’s the cold weather here in L.A., or maybe it’s that Easter is around the corner (which means warm weather is sure to follow)…either way, I’ve got Spring fever!! This is my ode to spring.  I don’t normally wear this much color but I can’t get enough of my mint jeans lately (also worn here).  I thought this would be the perfect pastel combination topped off with Mac’s Saint Germain Lip color.  Which by the way, is more pastel pink than the purple that these photos are displaying.  The shirt, vest and clutch are all from Urban Outfitters. I got this shirt recently on sale and it has been such a great staple piece.  I can wear it with almost anything and it’s perfect for layering.  I’m always looking for new ways to wear existing pieces from my wardrobe so this was a fun outfit to put together.  Find something in your closet this week and pair it with something completely out of your norm.  It’s a great way to feel fresh and renewed. Mint is in!!  We have been seeing mints and pastels all over fashion week. Pastel hues are going to be a must have for spring.  Right now in L.A. it’s still cold enough to be sporting that faux fur you bought at the beginning of the season so, I figured I would combine the two while I still can.  I know it’s still really cold in most places so this is a great way to invite an early spring while staying warm and cozy.  I actually bought these pants a few months ago at Crossroads Trading Company.  At the time I hadn’t seen a lot of mint but I knew colored denim was in and I loved this color so I took a chance.  I’m glad I did!!  I’ve been loving them so far and I will be able to wear them all spring and summer.  What do you think?  Is mint going to grace your wardrobe this season?  Have a lovely day!!   xo, A
