We both have a our Summer vacations, or shall we say end of Summer vacations booked and our brains are in complete getaway mode!!!  We are so excited to escape reality for a little while and we are getting more excited by the day thinking of all the great clothes we are going to pack!  One of the things we know for sure is that comfort is key on vacation!!  That is why Maxi dresses and skirts are a perfect fit for these summer trips!!  They are a great way to achieve that comfortable look without sacrificing the style factor! You can sport tennis shoes with them for the days that you will be doing lots of walking and sightseeing and switch to heels for the late night activities.  Again, this is the perfect time to shop for maxi’s because so many retailers are dropping prices.  Here are a few we’ve found…Summer Lovin’ Maxi via Planet Blue, Oasis Stripe Maxi Dress via Asos, ASOS Maxi Skirt In Sheer And Solid Stripe, and Sparkle & Fade Maxi Pleated Chiffon Skirt via Urban Outfitters.  A couple of these items can be taken from Summer to Fall, which is always a plus since it’s right around the corner!  A basic pleated chiffon maxi is a definite staple piece for all seasons, so it will be a worthy investment.  Happy hump day!!

Some of my favorite eye candy for Spring. Pastels have been ruling my life this season, everything pastel hair, nails and DIY jackets. I am loving the animations that have been appearing in high fashion editorials lately its a cute fun way to stand out amongst the crowd. The rest… enjoy!

Happy Memorial Day to all!!  It doesn’t get any more patriotic than Wonder Woman!! Let’s take a moment to remember all those who have fallen while serving our beautiful country, and let’s not forget about all of those that have and are still serving to keep us safe. We are so grateful for them! We love Memorial Day not only because it’s a great time to relax and spend time with loved ones but also because it kicks off the start of summer.  What a beautiful time of year!  There is just something so magical about stars…don’t you think?  So dream on today, because we all live in a time and place where we can!!  Have a beautiful day!!  Love, K&A

We can’t get over how many amazing Tribal and Native inspired accessories there are right now.  If you’re not ready to go full blown with tribal prints just start with accessories.  Think turquoise, geometric shapes, over-sized rings, layered necklaces, feathers and leather…awe!!! We love it all!!  We love expressing our personalities through accessories.  You can really tell a lot about someone by how they top off their look so layer up and have fun with it! Speaking of comfort zones… A big part of the spring trends are mixed patterns, floral prints and texture.  The photos above are examples of some mixed patterns done well that we absolutely love.  This is completely out of our comfort zone; especially the ever growing floral trend!  Mixing patterns is something that must be done very well or you can look like a tourist on a tropical vacation.  Probably not what your going for…  So we decided to create some looks that we would actually wear.  Check them out below!!!
