Yesterday I was channeling my inner lioness at the old L.A. zoo, while my style seemed a little more a la Emanuelle Alt.  Labor Day is just around the corner, so if you’re a firm follower of fashion rules this is your last weekend to wear your white jeans.  Yikes!! Is Summer over already?  As for me, you may see me in white again….I’m a rebel like that!  It’s not what you wear, it’s how you wear it.  I love how eye-catching black and white is together…it’s a classic combination that will never go out of style.  I don’t know about you, but I’m due for a much-needed long weekend.  I’m on my way home to visit my family this weekend and I couldn’t be more excited!

I finally got on board with Instagram.  I know, I know…It’s old news.  I hesitated for so long because it seems like just another thing that takes us away from living in the moment, but I have to say… I like it!!  You can keep up with my everyday adventures via Followgram.  Have a fun weekend!!

As promised, here is the outfit from last week.  Ok, so I guess I am still a brunette but it’s pretty red.  Right?  I got you all thinking I went blonde…hehe! In all honesty, I wanted it to be a little lighter than this, but apparently it’s a process with hair this dark.  Can somebody please tell me how some people, aka celebrities, can go from dark to platinum, to pink and back so easily??

This is a typical Andee outfit.  I have a tendency to add color with accessories and shoes, so I was excited when I found this neon pink necklace.  Ok, confession time… I actually got this necklace for my sister for her birthday and I couldn’t resist styling it.  Don’t judge!!  Apparently I have a weakness for beautiful pink jewels!!  Not to worry, It’s now safe in her hands.  I love wearing grey; it’s a classy neutral color that you can pair with anything and I think you know how I feel about the black blazer.  It’s all about pairing your staple pieces with statement pieces to keep things exciting.  You know what I mean?  FYI Katie will be back soon and I know you miss her as much as I do.  Can’t wait!!

     Independence Day is almost here and we can’t wait for the red, white and blue celebrations to start!!  We feel so blessed to live in this beautiful Country and to have the opportunities and freedom that we enjoy everyday! July 4th, is an amazing day for Americans to unite and celebrate!  Hope this Eye Kandee gets you in a patriotic mood!!  Oh!! Hi there!! Speaking of Summer knits…I’m loving this shirt from Eternal Sunshine Creations!  It is incredibly comfy and I love the bohemian fit…not to mention the beautiful print…I’m in love!!  I’m notorious for being cold and never leave the house without a jacket, so this shirt is perfect for my cold blood, even in this warm weather.  I hope you’re all having a beautiful week!  The goal today is focus.  I’m full of excitement and anticipation today.  Not quite sure why, it’s just in the air…can you feel it?   xo, A

Never underestimate a basic white T-shirt and jeans.  Add some accessories and sexy shoes…perfection!!  There are so many ways to spin these essentials, which is why I love them.  This is my weekend go-to look.  Minus the heels, add some flip-flops and it’s perfect for a walk on the pier on a breezy summer day.  What’s your weekend go-to??

I guess I was feeling a little bit rock’n'roll when we shot this look…or maybe I was just in a comfy mood.  I’m all about comfort lately so these boyfriend shorts are perfect.  I actually dressed them down and wore them to a bonfire beach party last night.  This might be the perfect time of year!!  Beach bonfires, bike rides on the pier, Dodgers games…just a few of my favorite summer activities!  I love the contrast of the spikes against this soft pastel color; it gives this shirt just the right amount of edge.  On another note, today is my Mother’s birthday and I’m wishing I was with her, so I’m sending my love and birthday wishes from afar!  xoxo, A

Speaking of white jeans…these are my loves!!  I have over worn them already so I’m on the look out for the perfect white skinny’s but for now they will stay in rotation.  Just when I thought I was over mint I found this shirt.  I love the cut-outs in the back!  Apparently I can’t get over white jeans or mint at the moment…don’t judge!  Hope your all having a beautiful day!!

With all this talk about stars and galaxy prints we thought the Griffith Observatory would be the perfect place to get shots of this new dress I received from Sheinside.  It’s also a great place to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city and get in touch with the beyond.  Sheinside is an online store based in Shanghai.  They have so many unique pieces, so if you’re looking for something fresh and different check them out.  They also offer free shipping and have really great prices, which is always a plus!  This dress is so comfortable and I love the asymmetrical cut and the flow of the chiffon.  Also with just a touch of pink in the print I thought my hot pink Steve’s added the perfect femininity to the look.  What do you all think of these new galaxy prints??  Hope you’re having a lovely day!!    xo, A

Happy May Day!!  We took these photos a few weeks ago when the weather here in L.A. was still a bit chilly and I haven’t had a chance to post them.  I wanted to explore old pieces I already had in my wardrobe and use them in a new way.  I must have been feeling a little tribal with the mix of feathers, fringe and prints.  I’ve had these jeans for so long and I love how I can pair them with so many different looks.  This bag was a gift I received a few months ago and I was so excited because the tribal print is so hot right now…thanks Christian!!

Also just a quick shout out to the love of my life…it’s our Anniversary today and I can’t imagine life without him.  I love you babe!!  He is also the talented photographer behind all of our photos, so a big thanks to him as well!!!
