As promised, here is the outfit from last week.  Ok, so I guess I am still a brunette but it’s pretty red.  Right?  I got you all thinking I went blonde…hehe! In all honesty, I wanted it to be a little lighter than this, but apparently it’s a process with hair this dark.  Can somebody please tell me how some people, aka celebrities, can go from dark to platinum, to pink and back so easily??

This is a typical Andee outfit.  I have a tendency to add color with accessories and shoes, so I was excited when I found this neon pink necklace.  Ok, confession time… I actually got this necklace for my sister for her birthday and I couldn’t resist styling it.  Don’t judge!!  Apparently I have a weakness for beautiful pink jewels!!  Not to worry, It’s now safe in her hands.  I love wearing grey; it’s a classy neutral color that you can pair with anything and I think you know how I feel about the black blazer.  It’s all about pairing your staple pieces with statement pieces to keep things exciting.  You know what I mean?  FYI Katie will be back soon and I know you miss her as much as I do.  Can’t wait!!

A girl needs a little change up every once in a while and I have been in serious need.  So, I finally took a little time to get my hair done.  Let’s just say I’m not quite sure I’m still in the brunette family.  Awe….the suspense!!  I can’t wait to see what you all think.  How fab is this necklace?  A statement necklace deserves a little attention.  Don’t you think?  Next week I’ll show you the whole shabang; the outfit, the hair…. Oh the hair!!!

I guess I was feeling a little bit rock’n'roll when we shot this look…or maybe I was just in a comfy mood.  I’m all about comfort lately so these boyfriend shorts are perfect.  I actually dressed them down and wore them to a bonfire beach party last night.  This might be the perfect time of year!!  Beach bonfires, bike rides on the pier, Dodgers games…just a few of my favorite summer activities!  I love the contrast of the spikes against this soft pastel color; it gives this shirt just the right amount of edge.  On another note, today is my Mother’s birthday and I’m wishing I was with her, so I’m sending my love and birthday wishes from afar!  xoxo, A

What’s the fashion rule? …no white jeans before Memorial Day?  Well, either times are a changin’ or we’re all a little lax on the rules.  For us it’s actually been Winter into Spring whites and now it’s Summer whites all the way!!  Maybe we feel we can get away with it more because we’re in sunny California, I don’t know…either way white jeans are a must for Summer.  It’s all about how you style them and the options are endless.  Pair them with bright-colored sandals and a grey t-shirt for a day trip or at night swap your sandals for heels and throw on a leather jacket.  They are truly a staple piece to have in your closet this summer!!  So, check back for our take on the Summer whites and also stay with us to find out where you can find some great deals on those essential white jeans! Ok, we know we should have been on board with this trend months ago, but we’re now in search of the perfect pair of boyfriend jeans or shorts.  We think they’re a must have for summer.  They are casual and breezy and you can pair them with wedges or flip-flops and still look great.  There is a fine line between chic and frumpy so when picking out the perfect pair it’s all about fit.  Despite the name, because let’s be honest who can actually put on a pair of their beau’s jeans and feel sexy?  Not me!!  Finding the perfect jeans, boyfriend or not, is almost an art!  It’s all about how they look and feel on you personally. Below we have listed a few we’ve found that we like.  However, we are firm believers that the best way to find the perfect pair of jeans is to go thrifting; our favorites are Crossroads and Wasteland.  You can also DIY your own boyfriend shorts.  We would love to hear if you have found your perfect pair and where.  When we find ours we will be sure to share them in an outfit post.  Xo,  K&A
