Australian fashion week is over, but it has definitely left a lasting impression. We were so taken by the ever so beautiful and fashionable Aussies. They sure know how to dress down under!!!! The runways were filled with so many colors and such a wonderful mix of eclectic accessories and prints. It was hard to pin point a common theme. Every designer brought something different to the stage. Our absolute favorite was We Are Handsome. Their animal print swimsuits were unique and exotic coming down the runway, and we are always a fan of animals incorporated into fashion. We can’t forget to mention the feminine floral prints of Zimmermann and the bright mix of pattern’s of Romance Was Born. Another one of our favorite things about Fashion Week is the make-up and hair trends that we see emerge. Bring on the drama!! MBFWA brought out all the stops between the Russian Dolls of Alice McCall to the two-toned orange and hot pink lips of We Are Handsome and, oh yes! The theatrical superhero meets David Bowie look of Romance Was Born brought Aussie fashion week to a whole new level! The runway was definitely an eyeful, but we can’t forget about all the wonderful street styles. Above are just a few looks that caught our eye.
