On the runways….
In the pages….
To the streets…
Sports inspired fashion has been trending for the last couple years and now that the Olympics are here it’s hotter than ever. The Spring fashion shows were full of athletic couture and designers like Isabel Marant, Alexander Wang and Stella McCartney sent models down the runways looking fresh and sporty. Bomber jackets, mesh breathable cut-outs, track pants and ball caps were just a few of the athletic inspired pieces. Oh, and did I mention sneakers? Women everywhere should be thanking the fashion Gods for this trend, because sneakers seem to be the new stiletto these days. So, baby your feet while you can and jump on board! It’s finally acceptable to wear sneakers out side of the gym. Isabel Marant sneakers anyone?? The royal blue pair above are definitely on our dream list. We’ve seen this trend go from the runway to the streets and it’s all about mixing unconventional feminine pieces with sports influenced styles. You don’t want to go all out tomboy, so pair strappy heels with track pants or sneakers with your favorite team shirt and a maxi skirt. Create a look that says you’re active and athletic. Fit and Healthy is always sexy! Who knows, maybe it will also inspire you to get to the gym.
Hey readers!! We have some fun and comfy news! Hitting the streets everywhere are people sporting casual kicks! They have been pairing them with anything from a fancy dress, to fur or leather pants. They are a great addition to skinny jeans or some cute demin cut-offs . The shoes range from designer brands to our everyday Converse. It is a great mix of casual and dressy and we are feeling the combination!! Even better news is that we can be comfortable at the same time, which is something our feet will love!!! It’s a unique way to change up an outfit and to add some flare to already existing pieces, not to mention a great way to take on a more eclectic look. The designer brand below are the sneakers that we have been kind of obsessing over, they are a little out of our price range, but we can dream can’t we! Hope we inspired you to pick up those sneakers for more than running! K&A
